Happy Monday readers! I hope you had a wonderful weekend and are recovering from the festivities of the weekend. Today I wanted to share my thoughts with you on a Health Journal that a fellow blogger friend Sara Evanchick released on November 1st!
As someone who has participated in Weight Watchers for several years, I am all too familiar with food journaling - a task I must admit is not one that I am the most fond of. However, Eat Well Sweat Often has turned my attention back to the excitement of tracking your food and exercise.
What I Love About this Journal:
In your typical health journal, you only have slots to track your food and maybe your water in take, which is nice, but it is not always realistic.
In Eat Well Sweat Often, Evenchick provides you with a place to track your monthly goal, your weekly food plan, your weekly exercise plan, and your daily tracking. One thing I loved about the daily plan is the slot where you can review and assess what went well for the day and what could have used improvement. It seems like such a simple concept, but it was nice to sit down and acknowledge my accomplishments and my failures.
As a left-handed person, I am always thwarted by books with regular binding, but Evanchick thought ahead and made her book spiral bound, SCORE! On top of the spiral-bound binding, the book is also 6" x 9" which means it will fit easily in to a purse or gym bag and will travel easy. How neat is that?
