Saturday Class Time

Happy Saturday Everybody! I hope you are having a lovely morning so far and have some fun an exciting things planned for this weekend!

Today I am spending my day in a Project Management course that will allow me to take the test to become a Certified Associate of Project Management (CAPM).

I actually started the class yesterday afternoon and I can already tell it is going to be a long three weeks.  But when is class ever super exciting?

Because I was in class yesterday afternoon I ended up missing my Things I'm Loving Friday post, so for next weeks post I will make sure to post double the items to make up for the missed post.

Tonight Justin and I are going on a date because it's been way too long and I'm excited because we are going to see the new Captain America movie: "Captain America: The Winter Soldier".

I seriously love the Captain America movies because he is one if my favorite super heroes, plus how pretty is Chris Evans?

But his pretty looks are not only why I love Captain America.  I love him because, like Batman, he is just a normal person who is doing extraordinary things.   I'm always reminded that even the smallest person can accomplish amazing things.

Question of the Day:
Who is your favorite super hero and why?

#jackabeedaily2014 Week 13

It's Thursday again! Where did the past week go? I seriously feel like I was just doing this post yesterday.  The last week has been so fun so I cannot wait to share these pictures with you!

Day 87: I ordered 15 bottles of Essie nail polish off of Poshmark for $64 but because I already had money in the account from sales a while back, I ended up only spending $35!

Day 88: More fun kitty pictures that remind me too much of my kitties.  If you want to see other cute kitty pictures, check out this link here.

Day 89: I ran into Uncle Vernon from Harry Potter... well not really, but he sure does look like him doesn't he?

Day 90: My work celebrated the Tiger's Home Opening Day with Tiger's Attire, hot dogs and other fun snacks! Plus, the Tiger's got us a win for their first home game of the season!

Day 91: I finally beat my high score of 16 on Flappy Bird by 8 tubes! I am always overly excited when I bet my high score! How high have you gotten?

Day 92: My Essie order came in the mail! So excited about the new polishes and I cannot wait to try! Interested in buying some yourself? Check out Nirali's Closet, she has all kinds of wonderful things for sale!

Day 93: After all of the beautiful weather we've been having here, Michigan has decided that it is not quite ready and dealt us a cold weather and gloomy day again... Come on Mother Nature, we're ready for Spring!

That is it for this week!

April Plans

Hello April!

I swear the time has been flying by so far this year! Michigan saw its first great day of Spring yesterday with 55° and beautiful sun.  We also had opening day for the Detroit Tigers! Of course my home team won, but the game sure was a nail biter.

April is turning out to be a slower month for Justin and I, but I am sure that will quickly change as we begin filling our schedules with fun and exciting activities!

In Chronological Order:
  • Starting my CAPM Training Class
  • Celebrate my sister-in-laws birthday
  • Coffee Date with Wendy
  • Easter Sunday with the family
  • Movie Monday
  • CD Release Party for Justin's Boss
  • Family Get Together @ Grandma's House
While the schedule looks like it will be on the slower side, I will be super busy studying and preparing for the CAPM class and exam.  I am very excited about this opportunity because I will be starting the process of working toward becoming a Project Manager which will help me in my current career and in the future.

Plus, there is never a dull moment in our household and we are constantly looking for fun and exciting things to do together.

Other Happenings in April!

I did pretty well sticking on track to getting my workouts in for March and completing a majority of my challenges for myself, so I am going to continue with the challenges for the month of April.  If you have not had a chance yet, make sure to check out my book review for my reading in March.

My Challenges in April are:
You'll notice that these challenges are similar identical to my challenges from last month, with the exception of a different book and different physical challenge.  I was able to manage these challenges for last month, so I would like to keep going at this place.  PLUS, I very stupidly told my doctor I would lose a ton of weight before I see her for my physical for next year.  One step at a time, right?

Question of the Day:
What fun things do you have planned in April?
