Brilliant Liquid Chalk Markers By Colore Review + Giveaway

The following is a sponsored post, which means I am compensated in some form for writing it.
Happy Friday Friends! I hope your week went well and you are looking forward to a fun and relaxing weekend.  Justin and I will be spending the weekend celebrating my birthday and Mother's Day.

Today I wanted to share with you a little bit about the Brilliant Liquid Chalk Markers By Colore.  When Colore reached out to me to try their liquid chalk markers I was super excited 1. because I love markers and 2. because I love chalk.  I received a 2 pack of the brilliant white markers and an 8 pack of bright vibrant colors.

The neat part is the colorful ones come with a rubber cup to store the markers.  My colorful markers came in an orange case, but it looks it comes in a few other fun colors like pink and yellow.  I like that the case is made of rubber so it can be cleaned easily and will not keep dust.

The 8 pack of markers comes with Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple, Pink and White.  You can see them pictured below.

I originally thought I could use these on my chalk board in our kitchen, but upon further inspection it looks like they are not meant for porous surfaces, so I decided not to risk it and used them for other areas.

To get the markers going, you have to first push the tip down into the cap to release the pressure in the pen.  The you shake the pen for while to get things moving down into the tip.  Once the ink fills the tip of the marker, it is time to go to town.

For the white markers, I used a piece of textured cardstock to give them a whirl.  The markers went on smoothly and I did not find myself having to shake the pen as often as I originally thought I would.  These pens were clearly not made for paper because they are so wet, but they worked fairly well on the cardstock and could possibly be used for a quick decoration.

The colorful markers I tested on my sliding glass door.  I followed the same process as the white markers and made sure the ink had filled the tip of the pen, then I went to town.  The markers went on smoothly and quickly and I was able to make a few designs before settling on the one you see pictured below.  Sorry for the choppy picture, I did not realize the screen would distort the image as much as it did.

After I was done doodling, I took a few moments and quickly wiped the chalk off the window.  Like most surfaces, the marker left a little mark but that came off easily with a little Windex.
