Our 4th Anniversary

Happy Wendesday friends! Today we are back in Buenos Aires enjoining the evening after our trip to Iguazu Falls.  Today is a very exciting day for me as it is Justin and I's 4th Anniversary!  I'm a bit sad that I will not be home to celebrate with him, but I will be celebrating today and spending time in FaceTime with Justin.

What an incredible four years it has been.  I have loved all of our silly times together laughing and the most ridiculous things and I have loved planning our future together.

Happy 4th Anniversary to the love of my life.  Here is to 4 years and 80 more!

Question of the Day: What is the best anniversary gift you have received?
I'd love to hear from you!

Weekend Highs and Lows #9

Hello everyone!I hope you had a wonderful weekend filled with fun and exciting adventures  If you want more information about the party, please check out this post

Highs

Happy Monday Friends! Hello from Uruguay! Today we are heading to Buenos Aires.  I will make sure to share more with you when I get back to the states a week from today.  The trip has been amazing so far!  We have spent a lot of time in Montevideo enjoying the local activities and getting accustomed to how they do things around here.

Lows

On Friday I got a call from Justin telling me that Frye was very sick and would need to have surgery or be put down.  To be honest, I was not sure that we would be able to afford to have his surgery and he would have to be put down - thankfully Justin's parents were able to help us and Frye had emergency surgery on Friday.  Right now he is at home recovering with justin and continues to get better over the next few weeks.

Well that's all for now! I hope everyone has a wonderful week this week!

Thinking Out Loud Thursday #5

Happy Thursday Friends!

I am super excited because I am linking up with Running with Spoons and some other fellow bloggers for the Thinking Out Thursdays Linky Party.

What it is…
A weekly celebration of quirks and randomness! An opportunity to take the pressure and stress out of writing by sharing whatever it is that happens to pop into your mind when you begin to type — all worries about sense and structure pushed aside. A collection of random and disjointed thoughts, just because.

1.  I really want to go to a Cat Cafe.  Like really want to go.  There is something so exciting to me about enjoying a nice cup of coffee or tea with a friendly feline.  I love having coffee with my kitties at home, so it would be great to have one at a cafe.  Plus, these are great opportunities for people to meet and greet adoptable kitty cats.  There is even one that is trying to come to Ann Arbor, Michigan next year! I really hope it pans out! #thecatsmeow

2. Continuing with the kitty theme, I am thinking about getting a tattoo in honor of my cats.  My friend, Kimmy, and I were talking about how cool it would be to get the kitties paw prints tattooed with their names.  I am in love with the watercolor tattoo - I think they are beautiful! I just have to decide if and when I want to do this.  And where I would put this type of tattoo. #ShouldIGetOne

3.  Did you know that Back to the Future Day was yesterday? It is hard to believe that as of yesterday, Back to the Future is actually a thing of the past.  Strange huh? Here is a fun article of 10 things you can do to celebrate. #backtothefuture

4.  With Halloween around the corner, I thought it would be fun to share this article from Buzzfeed.  It is 25 costume ideas for families! I particularly loved this Mythbusters costume idea.  Super cute! I hope when I have kids some day, we can to family themed costumes.  #lookhowcutethiskidis

5.  I learned how to crochet a few weekends ago and I am addicted.  Honestly, it is a bit sad how addicted I am {let's just say I've been to Joann Fabrics more than three times in the past few weeks}.  With Christmas right around the corner, I fully intend to hand make a few of my gifts.  Plus, I really want to make this tree! I found it on Pinterest.  #thepossibilitiesareendless

I'm Leaving on a Jet Plane

Happy Wednesday Friends! I hope you are having a wonderful week so far and have exciting plans for the rest of the week.

Tomorrow I will be hopping on a plane to head to Uruguay with two of my best friends! I am super excited, but also very nervous.  I have not left the country since 2010 so I am a bit apprehensive about the trip.  And, let's be honest, I am not organized and have way too much stuff to pack before I go.

Throughout this planning process, a lot of people have asked me where in the world Uruguay is located.  Well, here it is!

We will be in South America more toward the bottom of the continent.  Right now it is Spring time so the weather is going to be on the cooler side {kind of like Michigan} but it will be getting warmer instead of colder.  I am excited to get away for a week and a half and enjoy a different country and good time with my friends.

While we are in South America, we will be going to Iguazu Waterfalls and Punta del Este.  We also will be travelling around a few other locations, but these are the two that I am looking the most forward to visiting.

I am hoping while we are down there we get to learn how to Tango, do a winery tour and go surfing.  I have never done any of those so I am super excited that we will get the opportunity to do so!

While I am away, I have planned several posts for you and will try to check in while I am down there.  If not, I will be very excited to share my trip with you all when I get back November 2nd!

Question of the Day:
What is your favorite location you have ever visited?

I'd love to hear from you!

Weekend Highs and Lows #8

Hello everyone!I hope you had a wonderful weekend filled with fun and exciting adventures  If you want more information about the party, please check out this post

Highs

Happy Monday Friends! I am so sorry I was absent all week last week.  I have been fighting a few illnesses and just did the absolute minimum to survive the week.  This week I am back and ready to roll!

Because I will be out of town for our anniversary this year, Justin and I celebrated this weekend with a relaxing weekend.  On Saturday we went shopping to get some supplies and groceries for the next few weeks and while we were out, we grabbed the latest season of Big Bang Theory.  If you have not watched that show, I highly recommend watching it.  It makes me laugh every time.

When we got home, we blew up the air mattress, cooked dinner and spent the evening cuddling and watching Big Bang Theory.  It was not anything super big or special, but it was exactly what we both needed.

Lows

Honestly this weekend was great - I was able to relax and be lazy which is exactly what I needed.  I guess the only low is that I did not accomplish my To Do list like I was hoping that I would.
