October: Month @ a Glance

Oh hello there! So my plan to post more frequently didn't go as planned, but here I am picking up one of my favorite post series I used to do on the blog! Can you believe we're already in October? Where in the world has this year gone? October is my second favorite month after December {because, Christmas} and it also really represents the beginning of the holiday season for me!

This year I am participating in the Last 90 Days challenge again because I really felt like the challenge had a positive influence in my life and I think it would be good to finish the year off strongly.  If you haven't heard of the Last 90 Days challenge, check out The Hollis Co. website.

October is always a fun and busy month for us and this year is no different.

So here's what's on our agenda this month!

On the Agenda this Month:

1. Helping our friends pack and move into their first house
2. Meeting our friends baby/dinner date with friends
3. My brother is getting married!
4. Halloween party at our house
5. Our 8th anniversary

Goals for October

1. Read Four Books: I know this is more than I used to do in the past, but I started a reading challenge with my girlfriend and I want to keep on it as much as I can! I'll be posting about that challenge soon, I promise!

2. Exercise daily: One of the goals for the Last 90 Days challenge is 30 minutes of exercise every day.  My goal is to either use my Peloton bike or go for a walk/run every day.

3. At least 4 posts this month.  I have had 3 or 4 half written posts on in my queue for the last 2 months so I desperately need to finish writing them and share them with you all!

Question of the Day: What costume are you wearing for Halloween this year?

I'd love to hear from you!

October: Month @ a Glance

Happy October 1st everyone! I am so excited the October is finally here.  It is so hard to believe that we are hitting the last three months of the year and are quickly approaching the "holiday season".  I love this time of year because it is filled with fun and exciting events and plenty of time with friends and family.  I'm also excited because this year I have a plan to end the year strong versus waiting until the New Year.  If you haven't had a chance to check it out, check out my #Last90Days Update that I posted yesterday!

October is always a fun and exciting month for us because we have our anniversary and my niece's birthday.  Not to mention all of the fun we have with Halloween and passing out candy.

So here's what's on our agenda this month!

On the Agenda this Month:

1. Ladies retreat with my mom
2. Dinner date with my friend
3. My niece's 6th birthday
4. Halloween Party at our house
5. Football and Cheer for my niece and nephew
6. Our 7th anniversary

Goals for October

1. Read Two Books:  This goal is perpetually on my list, but I am excited to start tackling it.  Reading is part of my daily goals for the #Last90Days challenge.  Ideally, I'd like to get more than 2 books done, but I also have other things I need to get done every day, so we will see.

2. Exercise daily: Another focus of the #Last90Days challenge is to do 30 minutes of exercise daily.  So the plan is to get 30 minutes of exercise every day either by using the #tiu31 daily moves combined with another workout.  I'm leaning toward doing stretching or yoga because my back has been bothering me lately and I think it would help with the pain.

Normally I do three goals for the month, but I think I'm going to just focus on two this month.  These seem like good areas for me to focus on this month.

Question of the Day: What costume are you wearing for Halloween this year?

September: Month @ a Glance

How in the world are we already in September? I feel like we were just starting summer and the warm weather.  This summer has been full of fun and relaxation which is always awesome, but I'll be honest Fall is my favorite season in Michigan.  I love the cooler weather and watching the leaves change.  Plus, Fall is filled with donuts, cider and pumpkin everything.

This month is actually not going to be super busy for us (thankfully!) so we will be using our time to catch up on things around the house and spend some much needed quality time together.

So here's what's on our agenda this month!

On the Agenda this Month:

1. Up North for Labor Day (we already went and came back)
2. Family reunion with Justin's family
3. Beginning Tap classes with my sister-in-law!
4. Art in the Village with Caitlin
5. Davisburg Heritage Festival
6. Girls Night with my girlfriends while Justin is out of town
7. Pedicures with Caroline and Kate
8. Apple Picking!
9. Go to at least one of my nephew's football games and see my niece cheer

Goals for September

1. Read Two Books:  Like always, I have a goal to read two books a month.  The last few months have not gone well for me.  That being said, I have already read half of a book and it's only September 5th so I am feeling great that I will finish at least one book this month.  Maybe I will even finish two!

2. Clean out Garden Beds: While Justin is out of town latest this month, my plan is to dig out all of the mulch and other stuff from the beds in front of our house.  When it comes to landscaping, we really do not have a ton of plants so I'd like to get a few plants started in our bed by the porch and transplant a few other plants from my mom's house.  The goal is to have the beds cleaned and ready to go come Spring so we can do some planting.

3.  Pick Paint for Downstairs: Justin and I have been brainstorming ways we can continue making progress on our house while also paying off debt and one of those ways is by painting parts of our house.  Right now the majority of our house is one color (thank you builder grade paint) and it's been driving me nutso lately.  If I could at least start picking colors out, then I can plan for the rest of the house.  I also need to make a few phone calls for painters to come in and paint our first floor and the stairway walls.  The walls in the entry are too tall for us to handle ourselves.

Question of the Day: How was back to school for you? Were you ready?

I'd love to hear from you!

June: Month @ a Glance

Happy June Friends!

I can't believe we're entering June already! BUT I am looking forward to sunshine, swimming, time with friends and the general wonderful-ness of Summertime!

I always feel like May flies by with my birthday, Mother's Day, my mom's birthday and Memorial Day, so I am hoping that June finds us a little slower (though that is unlikely).  The best part of June is we start seeing some of that beautiful warm temperatures and people start coming out of hibernation for the summer.

So here's what's on our agenda this month!

On the Agenda this Month:

1. Spend some time with Grandma before she heads back to North Dakota
2. Baby Baptisms! My cousin's are baptizing their babies the same day
3. McKenna's dance recital!
4. Father's Day Celebrations with our dads
5. Vince's 30th birthday party
6. Annual strawberry picking event with Justin's family
7. Possibly heading to Grand Rapids to visit my cousin before she has her baby boy

Goals for June

1. Read Two Books:  Y'all..... I still haven't finished reading Ace of Shades by Amandy Foody.  I have enjoyed the book so far, but I feel like there are never enough hours in the day for me to get everything done AND sit and read a book.  Does anyone else have this problem? This month my goal is to finish Ace of Shades.

2. Purge the pantry and linen closet.  One thing I have been trying to do is purge things I no longer want/need or are expired.  In June, I would like to go through our pantry and dispose of any items that have expired and I want to go through our linen closet in our master bath to get rid of any expired medication or unused products.

3. Work on the Garden.  This is a carryover from May, but this still stands.  Ideally, I would like to put some burning bushes and some hydrangea into our garden before it gets to late for planting.  Otherwise I will have to wait until Fall.  I am happy to report our lawn looks much better this year than last year - it took a while to get there, but it looks nice.

4. Focus on Thirty-One.  Last month I came very close to closing down my Thirty-One business, but I am happy to say that it lived to see another day.  Thirty-One is just a little side business, but I find when I get really involved with my business, I really enjoy myself.  For the month of June, I am planning to really focus on my business and see if it is something I want to continue pursuing.  Interested in learning more? Check out my Facebook Group.

Question of the Day: What are you planning for your dad for Father's Day?

May: Month @ a Glance

Happy May Friends!

Can you believe we are already in May?! Where has the year gone?

April hit me hard with starting a new job and just generally having a chaotic schedule, but I'm back and ready to get back into the blogging game! May is always a fun {and crazy} month for us between my birthday, Mother's Day and my mom's birthday.  But every year we have fun celebrating with friends and family.

So here's what's on our agenda this month!

On the Agenda this Month:

1. May the 4th Date Night with Cinco de Pie-o's
2. Check out the Davisburg Antique Festival
3. Nick's Graduation!
4. My Birthday
5. Mother's Day with Bocce Ball
6. Meal Train to meet my cousin's new baby girl
7. Mom's 60th Birthday
8. My Grandma Visits!

Goals for May

1. Read Two Books:  I did so awful reading in April I'm afraid.  I managed to read 30 pages of a book and listen to one chapter of another book.  Honestly, April was just an off month for me.  But for May I am ready to hit the ground running and have already started reading Ace of Shades by Amandy Foody.  This book is from my April Owlcrate and so far I love it!

2. Start Spring Cleaning.  This past weekend I went through my closet and purged a ton of clothes I no longer wear/need.  My goal is to go through our house and purge things we no longer need or use.  This includes areas like the pantry, linen closet and other spaces that accumulate things we never use.

3. Work on the Garden.  Since we moved into the house we have not put any major landscaping in the yard.  This year I want to spend some time in the garden area planting some perennials and annuals.  We also need to make sure to get our yard maintained this year as we are not good about caring for it.

4. Finish My Office.  My office is well on it's way to being done, but I still have a few things I would like to do in the space.  For example, I need a little table for the printer and I have several pieces of art I need to hang.  And I need things like a tape dispenser and a stapler.  Thank goodness Amazon has some of those items.  Once I get the space to my ideal place I will be sure to share the finished product! I'm excited about it.

Question of the Day: What are you planning for your mom for Mother's Day?

April: Month @ a Glance {Late}

Happy April Friends!

And happy Friday! I hope your week has been going well and you are looking forward to a fun weekend ahead!

I am very late to the game on this post {so sorry} this month, but I figured I would drop by and share what's been going on and a little bit about why I have been a little absent.  First off, no I am not pregnant! A lot of people keep assuming that I'm pregnant and that's not the big news.  However, I am excited to announce I am taking a new job and will be transitioning into a different field of work.

This job opportunity came up rather quickly, but it had everything I needed so I am excited to make that transition over to a new job and try something different.  I am also sad to leave my current position because it was my first "big kid" job and I have made so many great friends and learned so much at this job.  I am grateful for everything I have learned and look forward to taking it with me to the new job.

So here's what we have going on this month!

On the Agenda this Month:

1. Easter Brunch with Justin's parents
2. Easter meal with my mom's big family
3. Shopping with Janelle and the kids
4. Celebrating Janelle's birthday
5. Start my new job!
6. Mother/Daughter tea with mom
7. Lazy Sunday

Goals for April

1. Read Two Books: This one will likely be a stretch for me as I have been a bit chaotic lately; however, I am planning to read Obsidio by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff.  This is the third book in the Illuminae Files series so I am excited to see how it plays out.  I'm also looking to listen to The Silent Wife by A.S.A Harrison.  My mom has been raving about this book so I downloaded it on Audible to listen to and I cannot wait to get started!

2. Finish Decorating the Mud Room & Powder Room.  Justin worked so hard to get the Mud Room and Powder room done and they look amazing! Now I need to go and get some decorations for the space.  I'm not 100% certain what I'm going to put in there, but I am looking forward to shopping with Janelle tomorrow to get some ideas.

3. Purge clothes/transition to Spring/Summer wardrobe.  Now that I'm starting a new job, it seems like a good time to start purging old clothing I no longer wear or need.  My plan is to take time on Sunday to go through everything and get rid of stuff I no longer wear/need.  I'll likely donate or sell most of the clothes I have because majority is in good shape.

4. Set up my office.  Now that I am going to be working from home several days a week, I need to get my office space more functional for my needs.  As I started clearing my old cubicle out, I started to realize that I do not have a lot of office essentials at home so I spent some time last week and will spend some time this weekend figuring out what I need/what I have and getting everything set up more functionally for my needs.  I am excited to see how the space comes together.

Question of the Day: What did your family do for Easter this year?

March: Month @ a Glance

Happy March Friends!

And happy baby Friday! I hope your week has been going well and you are looking forward to a fun weekend ahead!

Yet again, it feels like the month has FLOWN by - and I think it's more dramatic because February is a few days shorter than the average month.  February was so much fun with all of the random evens we had and ALL of the snow we had dumped on us by Mother Nature.  At one point, we had over 16" (40.64 cm) in our front yard that promptly melted less than a week later.  Michigan sure does have chaos when it comes to weather.

March is going to be a slower month for us in our personal lives, but our work lives are going to be crazy.  Between his quarterly release and my digital summit, we're going to be exhausted.  That being said, I'm looking forward to the weather starting to warm and more sunshiny days ahead.

So here's what we have going on this month!

On the Agenda this Month:

1. Eye doctor appointment for me!
2. All Committee Meeting for our HOA
3. Allergist Appointment
4. Justin's Quarterly Release
5. Seeing Cinderella with my Mother-in-law, sister-in-law and niece!
5. Celebrate and Connect Event for Thirty-One!
6. St. Patrick's Day Dinner/Celebration
7. The Sound of Music Live with my mom, cousin and aunt!

Goals for March

1. Read Two Books: I struggled to find time for reading in February and only managed to finish Gemina by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff, but that works out because the third book in the series comes out this month! So for March I am planning to read Obsidio by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff and if that doesn't eat all of my time, I'll grab another book from my list.

2. Finish Decorating the Mud Room & Powder Room.  I'm excited to report that the mudroom and powder room have been painted! The next step will be to get the bead board hung.  Once that is done I can get to decorating the space! I have a few ideas, but I really am loving the idea of shelves above the toilet for the powder room.  Something like this:

See the pin here: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/260575528423857538/
Justin is thinking he can build those shelves so once those are done, I will be spending some time looking for cute items to fill the space.  I also need ideas for how to decorate a mudroom/hallway.  It's a high traffic space, so I need to be cautious with what I hang there.

3. Finish moving boxes from the garage to the basement.  The garage has been emptied of all but 2 or 3 boxes with the rest being trash.  We've had to pilfer out trash week-by-week so we do not overload our trash pick up.  Once all of the trash has been removed, the last few boxes will be emptied and moved to the basement (or thrown away/donated).

4. Get blinds/curtains for the garage and guest bathroom.  So last month I talked about ordering blinds from Select Blinds, but I am actually thinking we will just go to Home Depot and get what we need from there.  That way we don't have to wait for them to be delivered.  {I know I'm super impatient, but I am just so excited!}.

5. Clean basement floors.  So one of the things that we have not done yet is clean our basement floors.  This seems like an odd one, but because our house was new when we bought it, the floors are extremely dusty.  This means, when we go to the basement and come back up, we bring dust into the main part of the house.  It's just a total mess at times.  So I would like to take some time in March to vacuum/mop the floors and get rid of any trash in the basement.

Question of the Day: How do you celebrate St. Patrick's Day?

February: Month @ a Glance

Happy February Friends!

And happy baby Friday! I hope your week has been going well and you are looking forward to a fun weekend ahead!

Photo Courtesy of Love This Pic

Does anyone else feel like January flew by? I seriously felt like we hit the ground running and cannot believe the month is already over! February is one of my favorite months because of Valentine's Day! Every year Justin and I take a day off around Valentine's Day (this year we're taking the 16th off) to spend the day together.  I enjoy this tradition because we do not run into the craziness of the crowds and get to just enjoy each others company.

So here's what we have going on this month!

On the Agenda this Month:

1. JP's 8th Birthday Party (how is this even possible??)
2. Dermatologist appointment
3. Seeing Finding Neverland with my friend Kim!
4. My cousin's housewarming party!
5. Getting a facial with my mom (yay for 1/2 off coupons!)
6. Thirty-One Party for my friend, Caroline!
7. Hopefully going to visit my other cousin at her new house

Goals for February

1. Read Two Books: I was able to finish three books in January and would like to keep that momentum going! Right now I am planning to read: Gemina by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff because the third book (Obsidio) comes out in March, then I am also planning to read Scrappy Little Nobody by Anna Kendrick.  The Gemina book is very long

2. Finish Decorating the Mud Room & Powder Room.  We have purchased all of the supplies to get the mud room and powder room painted/updated but we just have not taken the time to get everything started.  So my goal in February is to take the time to paint and get the bead board up in the space.  I will be sure to share a before and after of the space to you can see what we came up with!

3. Finish moving boxes from the garage to the basement.  I think we are down to 5 or 6 boxes left in the garage so I am excited that we will be able to get this done and start using the garage to it's full potential!

4. Get blinds/curtains for the garage and guest bathroom.  Have any of you ordered blinds from Select Blinds before? I have been on their site so many times looking at blinds and I need to just take the time to get the measurements and get the blinds put in the garage and the downstairs bathroom {maybe I'll get lucky and catch them while they're having a sale!!}

Question of the Day: What are your Valentine's Day plans?

January: Month @ a Glance 2018!

Happy New Year Friends!

I hope your year has started wonderfully {and you're not too hungover today}.

I am having a hard time wrapping my head around the fact that the last time I stopped by here was two months ago today.  I'll be honest with everyone and say that I just needed to take a little break.  I love blogging, but I also felt I needed to just take a step back from everything I've had going on in my life and just focus on my husband, family and friends.

Thankfully, taking time off to rest and recharge has really helped me take a break and give me a chance to  get some much needed R&R.  Last year I felt like I started the year face down, but 2018 started with my head held high and my face full of determination.  Over the next few days, I'll share a few different posts about what I am looking forward to in 2018 and my goals for myself.

On the Agenda this Month:

1. Product Premiere for Thirty-One!
2. Justin's Birthday // Birthday Party!
3. Hair Appointment - I think I'm switching up my color!
4. Follow Up Allergist Appointment

Goals for January

1. Read Two Books: This year, I'd very much like to actually read two to three books a month
so this month I'm planning to read two books at minimum.  Come back in a few days and see what my reading goal is for 2018!

2. Clean out the pantry.  With the new year here, it is time to start decluttering our house.  My goal is to go through everything in the pantry and donate/trash anything we no longer need and organize anything we will keep.  Our pantry is filled with a random assortment of stuff and it only makes sense to sort through and organize it all.

3. Finish moving boxes from the garage to the basement.  Justin was kind enough to finish building the shelving in our basement, so my goal is to get all of the boxes into the basement that belong in the basement and give the garage a good clean down.

4. Get blinds/curtains for the garage and guest bathroom.  Have any of you ordered blinds from Select Blinds before? I have been on their site so many times looking at blinds and I need to just take the time to get the measurements and get the blinds put in the garage and the downstairs bathroom {maybe I'll get lucky and catch them while they're having a sale!!}

November: Month @ a Glance

Happy November 1st Friends!

I hope you had a wonderful Halloween yesterday! I had a blast passing out candy to the kiddos in our neighborhood and listening to the awesome spooky music.  I think my favorite costume of the night was four teen girls dressed up as a puzzle! They even "assembled" the puzzle for me which was so cool.

It's hard to believe we are "officially" into the Holiday Season! With Thanksgiving in 23 days and Christmas in 53 days I am super excited! I've even started brainstorming some awesome Christmas ideas for friends/family!

So let's talk a little bit about what our month will look like!

On the Agenda this Month:

1. Pick Up Justin's New Phone!
2. Snow Show with Justin's Family
3. Barnes and Noble Holiday Webinar (excited to check this out)
4. Justin's friend is visiting for the weekend
5. Saline Craft Show with Justin's Sister
6. Friendsgiving!
7. Thanksgiving Holiday
8. Black Friday Shopping
9. My cousin's baby shower!

I am so excited to do ALL of these things! Especially all of the things that involve time with our family and friends!

Goals for November 2017!

1. Read Two Books! This month my goal is to read two books: Before She Ignites by Jodi Meadows from my September Owlcrate and A Man Called Ove by Fredrik Backman.  A Man Called Ove has been on my list for a loooonggg time, so I am excited to read it.

2. Clean out the pantry.  Justin started cleaning out the food and organized it a little bit so all I need to do is go in there and use my boxes and organize things in there.

3. Finish moving boxes to the basement from the garage.  We really need to get working on this.  I'll have a long weekend over Thanksgiving, so my goal will be to work on this space.

4. Start (and maybe finish) Christmas Shopping.  I am hoping to get going on shopping so we can enjoy our December and not be worried about shopping.

Goals for October 2017!

1. Read Two Books! I did not finish either of these books and I am so sad! They both look so great so I am hoping I can work on them in November.

2. Clean out the pantry.  Did not even touch the pantry; however, Justin spent some time cleaning out the food so he gave me a jump start.

3. Finish moving boxes to the basement from the garage.  They're still sitting out there... ha.

4. Paint the ceiling in the mudroom/powder room.  Also did not do this one.

5. Order blinds for the garage and powder room.  Oh look, didn't do this one either.  *facepalm*

Question of the Day: What fun things do you have in November?
I'd love to hear from you!

October: Month @ a Glance

Happy October 1st Friends!

We are officially into Fall and I am SO excited.  Fall means cooler temperatures, comfortable clothes, lots of coffee and cider and beautiful leaves.  Fall in Michigan is like a fresh of breath air for me.  My life starts to get busier with the holidays ahead, but I also feel like I am able to just be in the moment and enjoy time with family and friends.

October is always a busy month for us between our anniversary, my niece's birthday and our anniversary, but that is okay! These are all very exciting things filled with love and joy.

So let's talk a little bit about what our month will look like!

On the Agenda this Month:

1. Apple Picking!
2. Ladies Retreat with my Mom
3. McKenna's Birthday Party
4. JP Football
5. Halloween Party at Our House
6. Love Never Dies Opera
7. Our Anniversary
8. Halloween Festivities

I am so excited to do ALL of these things! October is my favorite month of the year (besides December) and I always look forward to Apple Picking and celebrating our anniversary.

Goals for October 2017!

1. Read Two Books!

Added this one back to the list because I did not even attempt to do this in September.

3. Finish moving boxes to the basement from the garage.  Justin built the shelves, now all I have to do is really start moving them.  I figure if I do 1-2 boxes a day, it will get done by the end of October.

4. Paint the ceiling in the mudroom/powder room.  We know we are for sure going to paint the ceiling white in this space, so I am hoping to get the ceiling painted in the mudroom/powder room this month.

5. Order blinds for the garage and powder room.  I have been looking to order blinds for this space for a loooonggg time, and since we are looking to update them both, I am planning to order some for the space from Select Blinds.  They seem to be reasonably priced and I am not looking for anything too fancy, so I think we can install them ourselves.

Completed in September 2017!

1. Read Two Books! In September I finished: The Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue by Mackenzi Lee and  The Hearts we Sold by Emily Lloyd-Jones.  To see my review, check out the recap I posted on Friday!

2. Clean out the pantry.  Did not finish or even start this task.  I'm a bit sad.

3. Start moving boxes to the basement from the garage.  Justin finished building majority of the shelves, so we started moving boxes down to the basement from the garage.  We are no where near done, but I am glad we have started this process.

4. Start working on the mudroom/powder room.  So far for the mudroom/powder room upgrade I have: picked out a paint (I think), picked out the blinds for the window and come up with a few decorative ideas for the space.  So I think I can count this as "started working" on the mudroom/powder room!

Question of the Day: What fun things do you have in October?
I'd love to hear from you!

September: Month @ a Glance

Happy September 1st Friends!

Welcome to September everybody! I am so excited we are finally making a quick approach to Fall.  Fall is my ABSOLUTE favorite time of year here in Michigan.  There is something just so special about the leaves changing and the weather cooling down {not to mention that I can breathe better - stupid asthma}.  September will be a fun and crazy month for us and I would not have it any other way.

This month on the blog I am hoping to share some fun things to do during the fall in Michigan, ideas around budgeting and how to keep track of your monies, share a little bit about how I am putting myself first {this one is SUPER hard for me} and share other fun and awesome posts.  The plan is to find a new and fun routine for the blog that allows me to enjoy the blog more than I ever have - I talked about this in yesterday's blog post if you have not already had a chance to read it.

So let's talk a little bit about what our month will look like!

On the Agenda this Month:

1. Up North for Labor Day with Justin's Parents
2. Destiny 2 Release Weekend (for all of you gamers out there)
3. Beth Moore Retreat in Ohio with my Mom
4. Vicki's Housewarming Party
5. Birthday Dinner for Caroline
6. Michigan Renaissance Fetival
7. Girls Night Out!

Goals for September 2017!

1. Read Two Books! I am behind on my monthly reading goal (by at least 2 books) so my goal is to read/finish two books.  Right now I am reading The Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue by Mackenzi Lee so I am planning to finish that book.  Then I am also planning to participate in the Owlcrate Book Club! The team at Owlcrate started a new Facebook Group where Owlcrate Subscribers can do a read along with other readers.  I am excited to see how they plan this out! August's Owlcrate Book is The Hearts we Sold by Emily Lloyd-Jones

2. Clean out the pantry.  I am embarrassed to admit that this task was also on my July goals and I just have not gotten around to it.  I am hoping to pull everything out of the pantry and get rid of or donate things we no longer need and trash anything that has expired.

3. Start moving boxes to the basement from the garage.  So last week Justin started working on the shelving in the basement and we were able to get all of the boxes off the floor and onto a shelf.  My goal is to get the boxes from the garage and into the basement so we have more room to the garage as a garage instead of a storage space {that's what the basement is for}.

4. Start working on the mudroom/powder room.  So a while back, Justin and I decided that it was time to start decorating our home, but at the time we really did not have a plan.  So we sat down and decided what order we were going to decorate the house and came to the conclusion that we would start small and go from there.  In July we finally finished decorating the dining room {yay!}, so the next space on our list is to get the mudroom/powder room completed.  I have some really fun ideas of things I'd like to do in there so this will be a fun project! Eventually when I get around to finishing the decorations, I will do a house tour and show you all everything!
